The opening of Autism Together, A; a special exhibition of work produced by adults with Autism was a great success. Wirral's Mayor Councillor Les Rowlands and Mayoress Mrs Paula Rowlands spent the afternoon looking at the artwork and talking to the artists.

The exhibition includes ceramics, paintings, and photographs, showing the wide variety of talent and creativity on display.

The exhibition runs from Tuesday to Saturday, 2.00 - 5.00 until Saturday 23rd April

Autism Together and the Rathbone Studio present A; a special exhibition of work produced by adults with Autism celebrating their amazing talents.

Clients attending Autism Together have produced some stunning work within the ceramics, creative arts, ICT and media departments. Some of this work has been collected together for this very special exhibition.

The exhibition runs from Tuesday 29th March until Saturday 23rd April with a special opening event at 2pm Saturday 2nd April 2016 which is also World Autism Awareness Day.

We will have a special edition of The Shout, information about Autism and light refreshments to celebrate this very special day.

The works on display include photographs, canvas paintings and ceramics.

On Friday 1st April at 2:30 we will have a special preview of the show with both service users and staff in attendance. Any staff or service users who wish to attend are most welcome.

2016 marks the 70th anniversary of Eleanor Rathbone’s death. To celebrate her life, the Rathbone Studio is holding an art exhibition inspired by Eleanor Rathbone, for women artists.

The exhibition ‘Eleanor, an Inspirational Woman’ will open on Saturday 30th April and run until Saturday 11th June. Open Tuesday - Saturday 2.00pm - 5.00pm. There will be a special opening on Friday 29th April 4.00pm - 7.00pm. Submissions to be in by 16th April

Mike McCartney, photographer, musician and author, came along to the opening of ‘Octogov, Making a Monster’ and was most impressed with how James and Scott have developed their original ideas.

He spent a lot of time talking to James and Scott and members of the production team, as well as taking photographs of the models and sets.

The exhibition opens at the Rathbone Studio, 28 Argyle Street, Birkenhead on Saturday 30th January until 23rd March. The Studio is open Tuesday to Saturday 2.00pm - 5.00pm.
